Updated Personal Website

I’ve been working on my personal portfolio website over the past few weeks when ever I’ve had the time.

It’s still got a few errors on each of the pages (mainly because I don’t really know what I’m doing and I’m making most of it up as I go along - and coding it from scratch), but it looks better than the last version.

Hopefully the ‘blog’ page is going to show my posts from this Tumblr account automatically. Which would be super.

Visit it here.

“I created an identity and packaging that mixes clean and minimal typography with 18th century botanical fruit illustrations to communicate a hand-crafted sensibility while evoking an earlier time where the settlers of Nelson started Saxton Fields (a local orchard in which Saxton Cider takes it name from). The result is a very elegant and sophisticated looking packaging solution that expresses a genuine sense of detail and loving care.”

I am multi-disciplinary designer with over 7 years of high level industry experience across most forms of graphic design and visual communication. Currently based in Auckland, New Zealand and I am available for freelance and contract opportunities.

Some artwork I did for a membership campaign at The Edge gym. These are just a few photos I took around the gym, but there were also web images / banners online, plasma images and screensavers.

Woodland animal pattern illustrations.

Got me a nice runner-up prize as well.
